Deportivo Coruna are to lodge an official complaint with UEFA over incidents that took place during their Intertoto Cup final defeat by Marseille on Tuesday.
The Galicians lost 5-1 at the Stade Velodrome, where they had two players sent off.
The club said they would provide a video of the game and press cuttings from Spanish newspapers to support their case.
After Tuesday’s match Deportivo coach Joaquin Caparros criticised Russian referee Nikolai Ivanov for a display he described as “shameful”.
