Italian coach Giuseppe Dossena as resigned as national coach of Albania,claiming that the media pressure was too much.
“Dossena said the main reason for his resignation were the journalists who had created an unfavorable atmosphere,” Sulejman Starova, general secretary of the Albanian Football Federation, said.
Dossena, a member of Italy’s 1982 World Cup-winning squad, has previously coached in Africa, and he is now is expected to return to the continent.
