Didier Drogba’s agent has denied reports that the player met officials from Inter last month.

Drogba was reported to have attended a dinner with Inter’s sporting director Marco Branca and Jorge Mendes – agent of Nerazzuri coach Jose Mourinho.

“Officially, I tell you firmly, Didier never met anyone from Inter,” Thierno Seydi told Le 10 Sport.

“It is disrespectful to say that.

“His (Drogba’s) priority is to give his best for Chelsea, and he is absolutely not unhappy.

“To talk about a transfer is just not topical, despite everything you hear and read – there is nothing.”

He also insisted that Drogba was more than happy that team-mate Nicolas Anelka was scoring goals at the moment.

“He is very happy for Nico, he is not jealous,” he said.

“He appreciates him a lot and would like to play with him in attack.

“Didier just needs time to get back to his best, he has never had such an injury in his career before.”
