Chelsea striker Didier Drogba could be out of action for four weeks with a groin injury, according to his club manager Jose Mourinho.

“He has a muscular injury which could take two, three or four weeks’ recovery,” Mourinho told the official Chelsea website.

Drogba was substituted during Chelsea’s 1-0 home win over Liverpool on Sunday.

As well as missing out on severall Premier League and Champions League matches, Drogba has withdrawn from the Ivory Coast squad to face Benin on Sunday
