Dynamo Kyiv have confirmed that Josef Sabo, who has been acting coach at the club for the past month, will assume the role on a permanent basis.

“It has been almost a month since Sabo took over as coach and we are happy about our decision which proved to be the correct one,” Dynamo said on their official website.

“The new coach has worked out the reasons for the crisis which hit Dynamo, achieved an understanding with the players and led them back to winning ways.”

The former Dynamo striker was first appointed the club’s caretaker coach last month, replacing Alexei Mikhailichenko, who was sacked following a string of poor results.
