Dynamo Kyiv have sacked coach Leonid Buryak after just two months in the job, following a string of poor results.

Dynamo were knocked out of last week’s second qualifying round of the Champions League by unheralded Swiss side Thun.

Buryak was replaced as acting coach by Anatoly Demyanenko, 45, previously a senior member of the coaching staff.

Buryak, who had also coached the Ukrainian national side in 2002-2003, replaced Josef Sabo in June.
