Edin Dzeko admits that he would like to play for Milan but confirmed he will stay at Wolfsburg if the move does not materialise.

.

The Italian outfit confirmed their interest in the 23-year-old last week but were warned off by the German club.

The Bosnian international scored 26 goals in the Bundesliga last season helping The Wolves clinch the league title.

“My dream is Milan, which everyone knows, but I am a VfL player,” he told Bild.

“However, no ones knows what will happen in 20 days. Maybe I will join up with Wolfsburg for pre-season or maybe I will be in Milan.

“Whatever happens, there are only two options.”

Wolfsburg insist insist they will not be selling Dzeko in the summer.

“We will not sell him,” club official Stephan Gruhsem said. “There is no reason for us to negotiate.”
