West Brom have signed Nathan Ellington from Wigan Athletic for a fee of £3 million.

The 24-year-old striker has agreed a four-year contract with The Baggies.

Ellington scored 59 goals in 134 league games during his time with The Latics.

Ellington becomes Bryan Robson’s fifth summer signing and joins a strike force which already boasts Robert Earnshaw, Diomansy Kamara, Geoff Horsfield, Kevin Campbell and Kanu.
