Samuel Eto’o’s agent has admitted that the striker could stay at Barcelona, if no suitable offers are received.
New Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has said that he would not stand in the way of Eto’o leaving, but the player’s representative Jose Maria Mesalles says that no bids have been received.
“One can not rule out Eto’o remaining in Barcelona next season,” Mesalles told Sport. “If there are no bids, he will stay.
“We have offers, but they do not convince us for various reasons.”
Eto’o has reportedly claimed he has received three offers.
He told Corriere dello Sport: “I have a few important offers. Which ones? Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter.”
