David Moyes remains confident Thomas Gravesen will remain an Everton player, despite reports that Real Madrid are interested in signing the Danish international.

Speculation in Spain claims Gravesen has already agreed personal terms with Real, and with the player free to leave for nothing at the end of the season, Everton could be persuaded to sell their infuential midfielder.

Real are prepared to offer up to to €4 million for the player.

But Everton manager Moyes is remains confident Gravesen will remain at Goodison Park.

“I speak to Tommy regularly and we know where we are at,” said Moyes.

“We’ve had no contact and I hope it stays that way.

“I want him to stay.”

Gravesen has spoken of his desire to play European football and with Everton currently occupying one of the four Champions League spots, Moyes is hopeful that he can convince the Dane that he can realise his ambition att Goodison Park.
