Wolfsburg have appointed Holger Fach their new coach.
Fach, a former Germany international defender, replaces the Belgian Erik Gerets, who stood down at the end of the season.
“We’ve signed someone with immense Bundesliga experience as a player and coach,” Wolfsburg’s manager Thomas Strunz said.
Fach, who has signed a two-year contract, was sacked by Borussia Moenchengladbach last October.
