Luis Figo says that he is happy with life at Internazionale following his move in the summer from Real Madrid.

The Portuguese winger says that he is enjoying life in Italy and enjoying his football aty Inter.

“My impression of Inter? From an environmental point of view it’s really good,” Figo told Corriere dello Sport.

“The club, the coach, my team-mates and supporters – everything has been fantastic from the beginning.

“As for my fitness, I knew at the beginning I could face a few problems, but I think I am at a good point.

“I know I must work a lot but this doesn’t frighten me.”

Figo has been impressed with Inter coach Roberto Mancini.

“With Mancini there has immediately been a good feeling. What we want is to win.

“The team is really competitive. It’s good playing with many good team-mates. And then, I won’t stop saying this, there is a hunger to win.

“Italian league or Champions League?

“Me and Inter, we don’t choose. We want to be protagonists until the end on all fronts.

“Champions League has surely a different fascination. Scudetto is a fixed idea because there are many years when Inter haven’t won it.”
