Luis Figo’s agent says that the player’s proposed move to Liverpool is dependent upon Real Madrid dropping their demand for a transfer fee.
Figo has agreed personal terms with Liverpool and was poised to sign, but Real are reported to be looking for a £2m fee for the Portuguese international.
“An agreement exists with Liverpool, but the decision rests on Real,” said agent Luis Douens.
“If they want money I believe it will be hard.”
Figo has a year left on his contract at Real,
