Manchester United are reported to be preparing to offload Uruguay striker Diego Forlan and Brazilian midfielder Kleberson in the summer.

The 24-year-old Forlan cost United £7.5m when he joined from Independiente in 2002 but he has failed to impress and since the arrival of Louis Saha in January, the Uruguayan has fallen further down the pecking order.

Spanish rivals Sevilla and Real Betis are rumoured to be interested and Forlan would be allowed to leave Old Trafford for as little as £2m.

United are set to rell Kleberson who has made only 14 appearances for the club since a £5.9m move from Atletico Paranaense last summer. The Brazilian World Cup winner dislocated a shoulder in September and has has been unable to command a regular starting place at United.
