Former Yugoslav international and national team coach Milos Milutinovic has died at the age of 70 after a long illness.

Milutinovic played for Yugoslav side Partizan Belgrade in the 1950s and enjoyed spells overseas with Bayern Munichin Germany and Racing Paris in Paris before ending his career at OFK Belgrade.

In 33 international appearances for Yugoslavia,Milutinovic scored 16 goals. He led the national team at the 1984 European championship in France and remained in the post until 1986.

At club level, Milutinovic coached Partizan,ÿ Velez in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Turkish sideÿBesiktas and Guadalajara in Mexico.

Milos was the brother of Bora Milutinovic, the man who has led national sides at five separate World Cup finals.
