The Brazilian was expectedto make his Real bow in Wednesday’s Champions League match against Genk, but the latest setback makes that unlikely.
Ronaldo had just overcome a muscle strain in his left leg and has not yet played a game for his new side since joining the European champions from Inter in a deal worth 30 million.
