Gallas linked with Barcelona

Chelsea defender William Gallas claims Barcelona are interested in signing him.

Reports emanating from Spain suggest Barcelona have made Gallas one of their transfer targets in the close-season.

The French international recently complained about being played out of position by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. Following an injury to Wayne Bridge, Gallas has been asked to play in the vacant left-back role.

Barcelona are on the look-out for defenders and they have identified Gallas as a possible target.

Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo quotes Gallas as saying: “Yes, Barcelona want me.”
