Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso will be out of action until the New Year as a result of teh knee injury he picked up in last weekend’s defeat at Atalanta.
Gattuso travelled to Belgium for tests on the knee on Tuesday and scans have shown he has suffered ligament damage.
Although the Italian international does not require surgery, doctors at the club do not expect him to be available again until January at the earliest.
