Promising Ghanaian youngster Daniel Opare is set to join Real Madrid.
The Ashanti Gold SC defender came to prominence in the 2007 Under-17 World Cup and Real have beaten a number of clubs to sign the 17-year-old..
“For me to play in Europe is a dream,” Opare told the Spanish media. “The offer of Real Madrid was more interesting to my club.”
The deal is believed to worth €1.5million and Opare is said to have agreed a six-year deal with Real.
