Malcolm Glazer now owns 97.3 percent of shares in Manchester United and is giving remaining shareholders two more weeks to sell their shares.

Glazer said on Tuesday in a statement to the London Stock Exchange that his Red Football Ltd. company now owned 257,906,287, or 97.3 percent, of Manchester United’s shares.

He has extended his offer of £3 per share until June 27.

Glazer hopes to take the club off the stock market by June 22.
