Simon Hopper thinks Tottenham are the value when they host Arsenal in Wednesday’s crucial north London derby…

Sunderland have suffered a setback with the news goalkeeper Craig Gordon is to miss the rest of the season.

The Scotland international is out for four to six months after undergoing knee surgery in Sweden on Monday.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce told the club’s official website on Tuesday: “Craig had the operation yesterday and it went well.

“He’ll be out for about four to six months now.

“Craig’s been following a programme but when the specialist had a look at the knee again, we were left with no choice but to go ahead with the surgery.

“That just sums our luck up at the moment.”

The keeper has missed the last six games as the Black Cats have plunged down the Premier League table.
