Thomas Helveg is the latest player to withdraw from Denmark’s squad ahead of the EURO 2004 Group 2 qualifiers against Romania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Milan defender joins FC Midtjylland goalkeeper Peter Skov-Jensen, defender Kaspar Bogelund and FC Copenhagen midfield player Thomas Roll Larsen absentees for the qualifiers.
Coach Morten Olsen has already added VfB Wolfsburg defender Thomas Rytter, Bolton Wanderers midfield player Per Frandsen and Aalborg BK goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen to his squad coach and does not intend to includefurther replacements.
