Thierry Henry admits that while it would be a dream to play for Real Madrid, he insists he has no intention of leaving Arsenal.

Speaking after being named runner-up to Zinedine Zidane in the FIFA 2003 World Player of the Year award,, Henry admitted that it is his ambition to win the Champions League with Arsenal.

“It would be a dream to play with them but my ambition is to win the Champions League with Arsenal,” he said.

“I want to feel priceless for them and them to be proud of me.

“I don’t really know what is happening in the background with the transfers and money but I know what I want, and both me and Arsenal are on the same line. Zidane scoops world honour

“The new Ashburton Grove stadium will arrive and hopefully we will then bring in some amazing players.

“At the moment it’s a big plan and, hopefully, it’s going to be a good one.

“I’m part of that plan, so I can’t leave the house.

“I’m happy in London and happy with this team.”
