Thierry Henry will miss the rest of Arsenal’s season.

The France striker has suffered an injury-plagued season, having returned from World Cup duty at less than full fitness, and now his season has ended prematurely after he damaged groin and stomach muscles.

Henry was sent for a scan and the results have prompted the club to bring his season to a halt.

“Thierry Henry will be out for a minimum of three months,” said Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

“Unfortunately this means he will now miss the rest of this season both domestically and internationally, but we are confident that he will be ready for the start of next season.”
