Guus Hiddink is not being lined up to replace Ciro Ferrara at Juventus, according to his agent Cees Van Nieuwenhuizen.
Ferrara’s position has come under scrutiny following a dismal sequence of results which include a 3-0 defeat to rivals Milan in Turin on Sunday.
Juve lie third in Serie A, 12 points behind leaders Inter, while the club were also eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage last month.
Russia coach Hiddink briefly returned to club management with Chelsea for the second half of last season, but the Dutchman seems unlikely to return to day-to-day management with Juve.
“There haven’t been contacts between Hiddink and Juventus,” Van Nieuwenhuizen told Telelombardia.
“So he won’t be the next Juve coach and that is 100 per cent.”
