Juventus’ Sweden forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has joined Internazionale in a four-year deal worth €24.8 million.
“Juventus have reached agreement with Inter Milan for the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for 24.8 million euros payable over three years,” the buying club said in a statement Thursday.
Juventus had previously claimed that the sale of France captain Patrick Vieira to Inter would be the final high profile departure, but Ibrahimovic requested a move following the club’s demotion to Serie B for their part in Italy’s match-fixing scandal.
He becomes Inter’s fourth signing for the new season after Vieira, Fabio Grosso (Palermo) and Hernan Crespo (Chelsea).
