Sweden coach Erik Hamren says Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to the squad for next week’s friendly international against Scotland.
The Barcelona striker dropped out of the national team last year after Sweden failed to qualify for the World Cup. His last match was the final qualifier against Albania on Oct. 14.
Ibrahimovic agreed to return in July after talks with Hamren, who replaced Lars Lagerback as coach in November.
Sweden will play Scotland in Stockholm on August 11, its last friendly before beginning the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign at home against Hungary on September 3.
