Milan defender Alessandro Nesta could miss next week’s Champions League second phase opener against Real Madrid.
Nesta, signed during the summer from Lazio, twisted his left knee in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Parma after 65 minutes.
He was substituted immediately and will certainly miss Italy’s international friendly against Turkey in Pescara on Wednesday.
Milan’s medical staff believe he is doubtful also for Saturday’s city derby against Internazionale and the crucial clash with Madrid on Tuesday of next week.
