England head to Kazakhstan this Saturday for a World Cup Qualifier knowing that the one and only time they met before the Three Lions won 5-1.

Inter president Massimo Moratti has played down talk of a swap deal involving Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o.

Barca are said to be interested in Ibrahimovic his agent has confirmed the Spanish giants would be a tempting destination.

“I only know that if the two clubs find an agreement we would not have trouble agreeing with Barcelona,” Mino Raiola told reporters.

It has been suggested Eto’o, whose future is also the subject of conjecture, could leave Barca, and a swap deal has been mooted.

Marca are reporting that Ibrahimovic could cost the Catalan club £60m, while Gazzetta dello Sport claim Inter want Barca striker Samuel Eto’o and a £30m transfer fee in return for their star player.

But Moratti, who met with Barca president Joan Laporta on Thursday, said: “It has been only a dinner between friends.

“I don’t see an Ibrahimovic-Eto’o exchange.”
