Internazionale are set to offer veteran winger Luis Figo a new contract.
Figo’s current contract expires in the summer and he has been linked with a number of MLS sides.
The former Portuguese international has recently recovered from a broken leg and Inter president Massimo Moratti intends to offer the 35-year-old with a new deal.
“It’s not certain that Figo will retire. I will certainly make him an offer to continue next season,” stated Moratti.
“I have been touched by his willingness to make himself useful and be crucial.
“Without putting pressure, I will offer him a contract extension.”
