Milan forward Filippo Inzaghi has dismissed reports suggesting he will retire at the end of the season.
Inzaghi, 36, has made just four Serie A starts for the Rossoneri this campaign and speculation in Italy claimed he would retire this summer.
However, the former Juventus star has confirmed he will play another season with Milan.
Inzaghi said in an interview with La Stampa: “The time to retire has not arrived yet. I still want to beat some records and I would like to do that with this jersey and for these fans who have always loved me.”
Inzaghi shares the honour as the most prolific goalscorer in European club competitions with Real Madrid striker Raul. Both have scored 68 goals in Europe.
