Milan have announced that veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi has signed a new deal at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The 35-year-old Italian has signed a one-year extension that ties him to the Serie A outfit until 2010.

Inzaghi signed for Milan from Juventus in 2001 and has been prolific since the switch, scoring 103 goals to date, including both goals in Milan’s 2007 Champions League final triumph over Liverpool.

“AC Milan communicate they have extended Filippo Inzaghi’s contract until 30th June 2010,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
