Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi is fit and raring to face Manchester United in their Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday.

Inzaghi missed the 3-2 first leg defeat last week, but Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted the experienced striker will come in to his starting eleven at teh expense of Alberto Gilardino.

“I feel ready and am in good shape,” Inzaghi told the Italian press.

“It is flattering to know that the fans are expecting my goals, but I am convinced that to beat Manchester United we will need a great Milan performance, not just from me.

“We must repeat the match we did in Munich. We are ready for such important matches.

“Personally I’m looking forward to playing against Manchester. We will do everything, we must face a big opponent, but we are aware of our strengths and we have the advantage of playing at home.”

Midfielder Clarence Seedorf is confident Milan can overcome the first leg deficit and has called on the club’s fans to get behind the team.

“On Wednesday our fans must be close to us,” Seedorf told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“We respected Manchester, maybe too much, but we have showed to be able to control the match at their home, you can imagine at our home.

“Manchester are the strongest side of this Champions League, but we can beat them.”
