Sampdoria have signed former Juventus player Mark Iuliano after the defender was released by Real Mallorca.
Club coach Hector Cuper said after Sunday’s 3-0 league defeat to Barcelona that the player wanted to leave for family reasons.
The 32-year-old former Italy international joined Mallorca from Juventus in January last year.
