Spanisn international winger Joaquin will sign for Valencia on a five-year deal from Real Betis, according to reports in Spain.
The 25-year-old, who did not train with Betis on Thursday, is expected to travel to Valencia later in the day to undergo a medical before completing a 25 million euro deal.
Joaquin, who has won 42 caps for Spain has spent his entire career with Betis.
He has attracted interest from the likes of Lyon and Internazionale this summer, but it looks like Valencia have won the battle to secure his signature.
Valencia qualified for the group stage of the Champions League on Tuesday after a 3-1 aggregate victory over Salzburg.
