Fiorentina playmaker Stevan Jovetic has undergone arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to be out for six months.
The Serie A outfit confirmed that the 20-year-old Jovetic underwent the operation in Germany, where he will remain for the next five weeks for rehab.
Fiorentina, who are also without forward Adrian Mutu until October 28 due to a doping ban, have won only one of its opening six Serie A matches.
