Juventus have dismissed reports claiming they are planning a move for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

Reports have suggested Juventus were lining up a move for Lampard as talks over a new deal at Chelsea continue to drag on.

Lampard’s agent, Steve Kutner, met Juve officials Alessio Secco and Roberto Bettega in London last week, but he Italians denied they were meeting to discuss Lampard.

“We didn’t go to London for him (Lampard) and there is no negotiation whatsoever to sign him,” said Secco.

Lamaprd appeared to close the door on a possible switch when he revealed earlier this week that he hoped to spend the rest of his career at Stamford Bridge.

“In the light of the comments made by the player, it’s clear that his future is in England.”
