Juventus defender Jorge Andrade may miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Andrade was hurt during Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Roma and was replaced early in the second half at Stadio Olimpico.
The early prognosis looks ominous and the former Deportivo La Coruna defender looks set for a lengthy lay-off.
“The only negative thing about this match has been Andrade’s injury,” Ranieri told Sky Italia.
“He suffered a tendon fracture in his knee, so it seems, and I think I’ll lose him for the rest of the season.”
Andrade will undergo tests back in Turin and he is expected to require surgery on the injury.
