Juventus have expressed an ingterest in signing Gabriel Heinze from Manchester United.

The Argentinian defender has been at the centre of a tug-of-war between Manchester United and Liverpool this summer, with United refusing to sell to their arch-rivals.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has repearedly stated that he will not sell the player to one of his domestic rivals.

Juventus have been linked with Heinze for some time and general manager Jean-Claude Blanc has now confirmed his side’s interest.

“We’ll have to see if something can happen with Heinze,” Blanc told The Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Juve are also reported to be prepared to offer Manchester United Raffaele Palladino plus cash for Giuseppe Rossi.
