World Footballer of the Year Kaka has admitted that he thought about quitting Milan last season.

“Did I think about leaving Milan? Only before the Champions League final in Athens, but not any more,” he told weekly magazine Guerin Sportivo. “One day I want to captain Milan.”

Kaka has since helped Milan win the Club World Cup Japan in December but he still has more ambitions to fulfill.

“I want to play at the Olympic Games in Beijing: the Olympics is the only title Brazil has never won,” added Kaka.

Kaka also spoke highly of compatriot Alexandre Pato who has now been cleared to make his debut for Milan.

“Is he the new Ronaldo, I think so. But there is a risk that the expectation will put too much pressure on him,” said Kaka.
