Germany international Sami Khedira has admitted he is considering a possible move to Real Madrid.

Real have made the Stuttgart midfielder one of their transfer targets after impressing at this summer’s World Cup finals.

“I am mulling over the thought of making a move to Real Madrid,” Khedira told Bild. “The club has confirmed that they are interested.

“Real Madrid is the biggest clubs in the whole world and Jose Mourinho is one of the most successful managers in the game.

“I was always fascinated by Mourinho’s style and Real Madrid has set a sign in signing him.

“The type of teams that play under Mourinho is the style I am after. Tactically perfect, with speed and the nose for goals and tight at the back. This is the only way to achieve success these days.”

Khedira has hinted Real Madrid are the only club who could prise him away from Stuttgart.

“All I am able to say is that I would not have allowed any contact if I would not be keen on such a step,” added Khedira.

“I can also say I would not have allowed any other club than Real Madrid to get in touch with me over a transfer at this point in time.

“Still everything remains undecided. I am going to make a decision in the next couple of days, at least next week. This is what I owe to Stuttgart.”
