Internazionale midfielder Kily Gonzalez has admitted he would like to return to Valencia in the future.

The 30-year-old Argentinian winger, who joined Inter in the summer of 2003, enjoyed a successful spell with the Spanish club.

“I am always going to be very thankful to the people of Mestalla because they have always been very kind with me. Valencia is always going to be in my heart,” he said.

“I am a player that is identified with the people of Valencia so, in the future, if I can return to play there, it would be my pleasure.”

Inter face Valencia on Wendesday in the Champions League but Kily Gonzalez misses the match.

“I am sad that I will not play against Valencia on Wednesday because I very much like this club,” he said.

“I would have liked to have the chance to be on the pitch and give thanks to the people of Mestalla,” he added.
