Surprise league leaders Real Sociedad risk being without key striker Darko Kovacevic away to Villerreal on Sunday.
Kovacevic, the Basque club’s six-goal top scorer, strained a leg muscle in the weekend win over Santander which edged Sociedad clear at the top.
Sociedad are one of 11 teams unbeaten in Europe’s top divisions so far this seasons. Their peers include Liverpool, PSV, Ajax, Inter, Juventus, FC Porto, Brugge, Rangers, NAC Breda and Borussia Dortmund.
