Liverpool’s Dirk Kuyt has confirmed that he is aware of an official bid from Inter for his services, although he refused to elaborate on the approach.
The Dutchman’s agent revealed earlier in the week that the European champions, now managed by former Liverpool boss, Rafa Benitez, were keen to take his client to Italy.
Kuyt has given no indication as what he intends to do, but is reported to have told a Dutch newspaper: “On Thursday night, during the Europa League game against Trabzonspor, the board of Liverpool informed me officially that they have received a fax from Inter.
“You can call this a luxury situation for me now.”
