Henrik Larsson has played down reports that he will be able to fit to play again for Barcelona this season.

The Swede is recovering from a serious knee injury he suffered against Real Madrid in November. There had benn reports that he may be fit to resume his career this season, but Larsson is not preparedto take any undue risks in his rehabilitation.

“I have two training sessions every day,” the 33-year-old told Sportbladet.

“In the morning, I usually take a long walk either in the mountains or on the beach.

“In the afternoon, I work in the gym and then run for a bit on the pitch.

“I do not get stressed. I am still set to be back for next season.

“Obviously I am keen to play but I know that it is a serious injury and that it will take time to get back.”
