Garrido comes in as a replacement for Aleksandar Kolarov who moved in the opposite direction to Eastlands earlier this month.

Spaniard Garrido struggled to establish himself at City since arriving from Real Sociedad in 2007.

“Garrido is a Lazio player. He was our first choice to replace Kolarov,” said Lazio president Claudio Lotito.
