Leeds United could be the subject of another takeover just weeks after new owners took control of the club, reports BBC Radio Leeds.

It is believed negotiations with a new investor are at an advanced stage, but the board have not yet accepted the bid

That group is thought to be headed by lifelong Leeds fan Steve Parkin, who runs a countrywide logistics business. New chairman Gerald Krasner said he would be happy to see fresh capital invested into Elland Road.

Krasner led the consortium who completed a £30m takeover of the club in March.

The news of the fresh takeover bid comes just 24 hours after former Bradford City chairman Geoffrey Richmond severed his his connection with the club amidst speculation of a split within the board.
