Ailing Premier League club Leeds United have been granted an extension with creditors to February 27 as the club fights to avoid administration.

Leeds also confirmed that that they had not received an offers for the club which would psatisy shareholders.

Leeds’ latest extension means chief executive Trevor Birch has not reached agreement with the Yorkshire-based consortium reported to be negotiating to buy the club.

The club is over £80m in debt and they lie19th in the 20-team Premier League.
