Liverpool have signed young Argentinian defender Emiliano Insua on an 18-month loan deal.
The left-back, a member of the Argentinian Under 20 side, joins on loan from Boca Juniors, with a view to a permanent deal if he impresses at Anfield.
His current contract will expire in June 2008, at which point Liverpool could sign him on a permanent basis.
