Germany coach Joachim Loew has named a provisional 26-man squad for next month’s European Championships finals in Austria and Switzerland.

Low named 19-year-old winger Marko Marin and called up 23-year-old goalkeeper Rene Adler in place of Timo Hildebrand to his squad.

Marin and Alder, both uncapped, were not the only surprises as Loew also recalled Real Betis winger David Odonkor and retained veteran striker Oliver Neuville.

The deadline for the final 23-man squad to be named is May 28.

Germany are in Group B with co-hosts Austria, Croatia and Poland.
